Bella Donneruno

 I have always pushed to make theater that reflects on my personal identity, to devise new ways of storytelling, and to have fun doing it. As a genderqueer artist I have strived to expand the theater canon and create opportunity for people who are not often represented as their truest selves on the stage. At the epicenter of my directing is joy. If there is no joy in a project, there is no life. I know that my work will not be for everyone, but I know it is for someone. And I hope that someone is willing to go along on this journey with me!
